Prosperous communities are healthy communities.  In order for our children to thrive they must have access to healthy fruits and vegetables.  Several citizens in Pitt County and surrounding areas live in food deserts which means they have limited access to these critical elements of quality nutrition.  EXCEED partners with other organizations in doing the important work of bringing healthy foods to these communities so their members can make good choices.
